We offer flexible hire periods at reasonably priced rates A non-returnable deposit of £50.00 will be required at the time of booking. We will send you an invoice for the balance, which must be paid 4 weeks before collection of your touring caravan. A deposit of £100 will be required upon collection, and this will be refunded one week after the end of the hire period, provided that the caravan is returned in a clean condition and free of damage. The hirer will be responsible for the first £100 of any loss or damage. Our hire charges include gas, number plates and insurance whilst the caravan is sited for British use. A surcharge is payable for continental use; it is a condition of continental hire that the hirers arrange for themselves either AA 5 star recovery service or the Caravan Club Red Pennant continental touring service. Your Insurance company should be notified that you intend to tow a caravan. Kingswood Caravans shall not be responsible for any liability by virtue of the Road Traffic Acts or whilst the caravan is being used on the public road, or whilst it is being moved. The hirer is responsible for arranging Road Traffic Acts' cover on the hired caravan with his own motor insurers prior to the date and shall at the request of Kingswood Caravans produce to them a cover-note evidencing this insurance. The tow car should be equipped with a 50mm tow-ball and two 7 pin lighting sockets and wired to international standard; we reserve the right to refuse hire if the towing equipment is considered inadequate to tow. All caravans are serviced before leaving our premises, but we cannot accept any liability for accidents, third party claims, breakdowns or expenses incurred for any other reason. A valid driving licence and Vehicle Registration Certificate should be produced when collecting the caravan.
